B’nai Shalom Annual Fund PDF Print E-mail

The B’nai Shalom Annual Fund is the lifeblood of our school.  Your support enables our teachers and staff to sustain and enhance the top-quality education offered each day to students from preschool through eighth grade.  Last year, donors helped students enjoy first-rate microscopes, new sports uniforms, laptop computers, field experiences at Timberlake Farm, and other educational enhancements not covered by tuition alone.

Academic excellence is the cornerstone of B’nai Shalom’s commitment to our students. A recent national study indicates that a majority of Jewish day school graduates attend colleges in the top quartile of ranked schools (Cohen Center, Brandeis University, 2007).  Statistics from our own students support this research with acceptances at University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown, Cornell, Brandeis and UNC-Chapel Hill.

Our students’ achievement is not limited to the classroom. They are Jewish leaders in their high schools and colleges.  The Cohen Center study also indicates that Jewish day school education is the most important contributor to the formation of strong Jewish identities.  Our graduates are editors of school newspapers, active Hillel participants, AP scholars, student body presidents and National Merit Semi-Finalists.

Please consider a gift to the B’nai Shalom Annual Fund; your gift ensures a strong future for our children.
