Greensboro Jewish Federation
The Federation is a proud supporter of B’nai Shalom Day School. We aim to create a vibrant and engaged community devoted to lifelong Jewish learning. By supporting high quality Jewish educational opportunities and making those opportunities accessible, we help ensure the future of our Jewish community while helping to develop future leaders.
The Greensboro Jewish Federation is the voice of our local Jewish community and for millions of Jews around the world. Giving care to those in need, giving deeper engagement in quality of life, and giving strength to the community, in Greensboro, Israel and around the world is at the heart of what we do.
The Jewish Foundation of Greensboro offers many options to allow donors to show their support of and commitment to the Jewish people, including donor advised funds, endowment funds, and testamentary gifts. Through the Create a Jewish Legacy initiative, the Foundation promotes awareness of bequests, endowments, and other planned gifts and educates the community on how to create a meaningful charitable legacy. PJ Library
PJ Library is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, made possible through partnerships with philanthropists and local Jewish organizations. Today, families in hundreds of communities across the United States and Canada are able to explore the timeless core values of Judaism through books and music.
Greensboro's PJ Library program is available for local children age 6 months to eight years old through a partnership between B'nai Shalom Day School, Greensboro Jewish Federation and the generosity of a local donor. Children receive a monthly gift of a Jewish book or CD at no cost. The books and CDs that are part of PJ Library have been specially chosen by children’s literature and music experts, because they communicate Jewish stories, heritage and values. PJ Library is sure to be an essential part of your family’s growing Jewish library. To enroll your child(ren), click here (external website).
