What is your official role at B'nai Shalom Day School?

4th grade General Studies Teacher & Learning Specialist

What is your favorite thing about your role?

I love getting to know students and watching them grow!

Do you have any pets?

I have one sweet 12 year old labradoodle named Mango.

How many pairs of shoes do you have?

I have lots of shoes, but usually wear athletic sneakers so my feet won't hurt!

What made you choose to work at B’nai Shalom?

I love the small class sizes because it really enables me to build meaningful relationships with students and individualize instruction as needed. I also work with a great team of colleagues .

What has been the highlight of your year thus far?

My highlight thus far has been reading my students' writing! I love watching how their writing develops throughout the year and seeing how students creativity grows.

What is something you have always wanted to learn?

I have always wanted to learn how to be handy and fix items around the house and learn how to create using carpentry skills.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Raising my children!

What your favorite way to spend time with your family?

I enjoy dinner table discussions and learning about my sons' lives.

What was your favorite subject in school?

I always loved reading!
